Fiberglass is a composite material consisting of glass fibers embedded in a resin matrix, which is then applied to the mold in layers. Each layer is carefully laminated and cured to achieve the desired strength, durability, and thickness. Throughout the process, additives may be added to enhance specific properties, such as UV resistance or flame retardancy.
Once the fiberglass has cured, the mold is carefully removed to reveal the raw sculpture. Skilled craftsmen then finish the surface, ensuring smoothness and correcting any imperfections. Additional details and textures may be added at this stage to achieve the desired artistic effect.
